over the weekend me and the kids had a nice weekend up north again, it was an unplanned spur of the moment weekend with grandma and grandpa, nick had to stay home and work:(
i was able to finally finish lilly and max's bird houses (my mom and dad have one for every grandchild) i drew lily pads with a lily flower for lilly's of course, that's grandpa's nickname for lilly (lily pad).
and it took me a while to think of the right thing to put on max's, but all of a sudden i remembered back to a wonderful story. it was a link from the blog A Walk In Lily's Garden you should take the time to read it if you haven't already. its a loving story of a father and son, oh, and then you will understand why i chose a bumblebee for max:)
