for little jackers 2nd birthday lilly wanted to do something really fun with him, so we decided to take him to a rainbows indoor playground. a few of lilly and max's other cousins didn't want to miss out on the fun:) so lucky for us they came along:)

the touch

two weeks back i went out for supper with other moms in our Ds family, we try to get together once a month. i really enjoy that time with all of them. it's funny how a group of women all different ages, careers, and lifestyles can come together and have a truly great time. anyway this was what i came home to.

steps

these picture were taken a few weeks back when the baby gate to the steps were down:) it used to be with the encouragement of his big sister max would follow her up the steps but now any chance he gets... he up to the top, this little one is fast:) oh, and the biggest thing... he now understands the word down and listens, and is able to come down on his own.

valentine's weekend

we spent the weekend up north with grandma and grandpa elrick:) we had a lot of fun outside on the lake, we took a slow ride on the sled behind the snowmobile, lilly and max had a great time.

poor max had to wear his sisters old snowsuit:( i looked and looked before we left for his but it's missing:( oh, well he still looks super cute in light purple. he fell asleep two seconds after we started the ride:)

lilly made a snowman... but it kept falling apart:(
the snow just wasn't packy enough.
a nice family picture, eating the best breakfast in the world... omelets with everything:) oh, and when we got home today nick surprised me with diamond earrings!!! the perfect ending to a perfect valentine's !!!

noah's birthday party

noah had his 7th birthday party at skate city over the weekend. it was a lot of fun, it was lilly's first time on skates and she did really well:)

i think it felt like a special day for lilly too because max stayed home with the babysitter so it was just lilly, mom and dad out for the day. at first she didn't know what to think about leaving her brother home but after a while i could tell she was enjoying that time with us:)it was a great day:) lots of little kids.
